Call for Proposals – Consultant or consulting firm for the Evaluation of the Read@Home Project.

The Read@Home Project is implemented by Food for the Hungry Burundi in partneship with the World Bank and aims to improve children’s literacy and early learning outcomes through the promotion of reading practices within households in Mukerwa (Busoni) and Gisanze (Butihinda). To strengthen program learning, accountability, and decision‑making, the project seeks a qualified consultant or consulting firm to conduct an end project evaluation. The objective is to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the Read@Home Project by assessing progress, effectiveness, relevance, efficiency, and lessons learned, and by providing actionable recommendations for future programming.
Interested candidates to this call for proposal can get the terms of reference at the Food for the Hungry Burundi Office in Bujumbura, Quartier Kabondo, Avenue Gihungwe, No 35 during working hours from 8h00 am to 16h00 pm every day except Friday where the closing time is 13h00 pm.
The deadline to get the terms of reference is fixed on Friday 13th March 2026 at 13h00 pm.
The proposal submission should be addressed to the Country Director of Food for the Hungry Burundi via e-mail burundi@fh.org latest Thursday 19th March 2026 at 14h00 pm.
NB: Proposals submitted after the mentioned time above will not be considered.
