TEARFUND IN BURUNDI
The Tearfund office in Burundi is seeking a competent and motivated individual for the ‘Programme Funding Officer’ position. If you are passionate about contributing to high-impact projects, we strongly encourage you to apply.
We are a Christian organisation partnering with the local church to see change in the lives of those in greatest economic need.
Candidate Profile
- Qualifications: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Development Studies or equivalent qualification/work experience in a related subject.
- Experience: At least 5 years in a local or international NGO, with experience in grant acquisition, proposal development (narrative and budgets), and donor reporting.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in English and French), strong organizational capacity, familiarity with various donor systems and compliance and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Personal Qualities: Strong team player, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to travel within or outside Burundi.
