• Implement HSE policies, procedures and safety programs across the plant.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, JSA/JHA, safety observations and audits.
• Monitor high-risk activities including hot work, lifting/cranes, LOTO, confined space, work at height, electrical work, machinery and material handling.
• Manage and monitor the Permit-to-Work system and ensure required controls are in place.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; identify root causes and follow up corrective actions.
• Conduct HSE induction, toolbox talks, refresher training and safety awareness programs.
• Monitor contractor HSE performance and ensure compliance with company requirements.
• Support emergency preparedness, fire safety, drills and emergency response.
• Monitor environmental aspects including waste, hazardous materials, dust, noise and spill prevention.
• Prepare HSE reports, statistics, inspections and corrective-action records for management.
• Promote a strong safety culture and stop unsafe work where there is an immediate serious risk.
